About the Role
A proprietary trading firm in New York City is looking for a sharp, curious, and driven new graduate Quantitative Developer to join its team on a full-time basis. The position is open to recent graduates from any academic background, provided they have strong coding skills, good analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in building technology for financial markets.
In this role, you will sit at the crossroads of software engineering, quantitative research, and trading. Your work will help shape the tools, systems, and infrastructure that power data analysis, trading strategies, risk controls, and fast decision-making.

Responsibilities
- Build, improve, test, and support internal software tools used by traders, researchers, and engineers.
- Create systems for handling market data, research workflows, simulations, backtesting, and trade execution.
- Work with large volumes of data to support quantitative analysis and trading decisions.
- Partner with quantitative researchers and traders to turn concepts into dependable production systems.
- Enhance the speed, stability, scalability, and ease of use of internal platforms.
- Develop dashboards, analytical tools, APIs, and automation processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize code used in research and trading environments.
- Build knowledge of financial markets, trading operations, market data, and risk management.
- Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate from a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or similar program.

- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Python, C++, Java, C#, Go, Rust, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Good problem-solving ability, along with strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.

- Careful attention to detail and the ability to produce clean, reliable, maintainable code.
