Production Engineer

Role Overview

Berain Water is hiring a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing activities in Jeddah. The role focuses on keeping production plans on track, coordinating with supervisors and technicians, and helping improve output, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Track production plans closely and make sure they are carried out as scheduled.
• Monitor production lines and work with supervisors and technicians to keep operations moving according to plan.
• Prepare regular daily and periodic updates on production activities and plan progress.
• Oversee technician work schedules and adjust them when operational needs require it.
• Take on other related duties assigned by the direct manager.
• Suggest improvements that can raise production capacity, lower operating costs, and strengthen product quality.
• Work with Total Quality Management teams on production issues, product defects, quality and safety concerns, and occupational health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams on preventive maintenance programs, planned shutdowns, technical troubleshooting, and reduction of machine downtime.
• Check the performance efficiency of equipment and machinery, and keep an eye on inventory levels to ensure they align with sales needs.
• Maintain safe working conditions in the production area and report or correct any unsafe situation immediately.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in production or a closely related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in food production and manufacturing is needed.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to production planning, quality coordination, maintenance follow-up, inventory monitoring, and workplace safety improvements.
