About Heidi
Heidi is developing an AI Care Partner designed to support clinicians throughout the care journey, from note-taking and documentation through to the delivery of care. The company’s aim is to help healthcare teams do more without losing the human connection at the centre of patient care.
In just 18 months, Heidi has helped return more than 18 million hours to clinicians and has supported over 73 million patient visits. Each week, its platform powers more than two million patient visits across 116 countries and 110+ languages.
Built by clinicians and supported by engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, Heidi is united by a shared mission to strengthen the human side of healthcare. The company is backed by nearly $100 million in funding and is growing across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, with partnerships that include major health systems such as the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health.
Role overview
Heidi is hiring a proactive and motivated Sales Development Representative to join its UK sales team. In this role, you will support the commercial function by finding and qualifying leads, reaching out to potential customers, and booking valuable meetings for SMB Account Executives. Your work will help create strong relationships with healthcare practices and hospital groups and support growth in the US market.
This position suits someone who is confident in outreach, communicates well, and is comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment. You will develop expertise in healthcare prospecting, help generate new business opportunities, and make a direct contribution to pipeline growth.
Key responsibilities
- Research, identify, and prospect small to medium-sized healthcare customers, including practices and hospital groups.
- Run outbound outreach through calls, email, social selling, and product-led signals to assess and qualify leads.
- Arrange strong-quality meetings and product demos for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth transition of qualified prospects.
- Keep HubSpot CRM records accurate, help manage and improve the sales pipeline, and consistently hit targets for qualified lead generation.
- Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Success to align sales efforts and strengthen market positioning.
- Monitor market movements, competitor activity, and changing customer needs to uncover fresh opportunities.
What the company is looking for
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within SaaS, healthcare, or a related field, though this is preferred rather than mandatory.
- A track record of generating leads, qualifying prospects, and handling high-volume outreach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to connect quickly and explain the value of Heidi’s AI-powered healthcare tools.
- Very organised, disciplined, and focused on outcomes, with the ability to juggle and prioritise several tasks at once.
- Comfort working independently in a busy startup setting where ownership and accountability matter.
- Willingness to learn, flexibility to adapt, and enthusiasm for long-term professional growth.
Mindset and culture
Heidi places more value on attitude than experience. If you are ambitious, competitive, highly driven, and naturally good at solving problems and building relationships, the team would like to hear from you.
The company operates with long-term thinking and ambitious goals, guided by a belief in precision, speed, and ownership.
- Live Forever: Every update should move care forward in a safe, measurable, and durable way. The company uses data to guide decisions, while recognising that patients define what truly matters.
- Practice Ownership: Decisions are expected to be based on logic and evidence rather than hierarchy. High-quality care requires high standards in work, thinking, and character.
- Small Cuts Heal Faster: Stability builds trust, and speed creates impact. Progress means learning quickly without disrupting what people rely on.
- Make others better: Feedback is direct, kindness is consistent, and excellence should raise the performance of everyone around you. Success is measured by shared growth, not individual output.
The mission is to expand the world’s capacity to care while preserving the humanity that makes care meaningful.
Why you may thrive here
- High impact work with the chance to accelerate your startup career while helping shape the future of healthcare.
- Real product traction, with strong market interest already in motion.
- Equity from the start, so you share in the success you help build.
- Exposure to top-tier talent, including experienced engineers and creatives in a diverse team.
- Support for growth and wellbeing, including a £500 personal development budget, dedicated wellness days, and your birthday off.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Heidi is committed to building a fair, inclusive, and supportive workplace that welcomes people from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. The company values difference and is an equal opportunity employer that aims to create opportunity for everyone.
