Site Engineer

Role Overview

UCC Holding is hiring a Site Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to contribute to project delivery by supporting planning, coordination, cost management, technical supervision, and compliance with quality requirements. The role focuses on helping ensure that site activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project planning activities such as site layout preparation, scheduling, and allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials so work progresses on time.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations by tracking progress, checking work quality, and ensuring compliance with safety rules and construction standards.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep work moving smoothly and help resolve site-related issues.
• Handle the procurement, receipt, and safe storage of materials and equipment to maintain uninterrupted project execution.
• Apply quality assurance checks so that completed work matches project drawings, specifications, codes, and regulatory expectations.
• Offer technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors when operational or technical questions arise.
• Keep detailed project records, including progress updates, site logs, and as-built documentation, to support milestone tracking and contract compliance.
• Promote and enforce site safety requirements through inspections and corrective actions that reduce risk and prevent incidents.
• Track project spending, look for opportunities to reduce costs, and help maintain work within approved budgets.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and other stakeholders while addressing concerns and maintaining satisfaction.
• Assist with HSE programs, take part in safety awareness efforts, and support incident reporting and follow-up in accordance with company and IMS policies.

Experience and Education

This position requires at least 5 years of work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or another engineering discipline is required. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory.
