Role Overview

Pepperstone is seeking a practical, execution-oriented Transformation Lead to convert strategy into delivery, with an early emphasis on its AI-Native transformation program. The role sits close to Technology but supports change across the wider business, requiring strong partnership with People & Culture, business leaders and external specialists.

This position is focused on getting things done rather than people management. It suits someone who combines transformation delivery, business analysis, product thinking, facilitation and the ability to work effectively through ambiguity. The appointment is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day coordination and progression of transformation workstreams, beginning with the AI-Native program.
• Turn strategic goals into practical delivery plans with milestones, accountable owners and measurable outcomes.
• Spot risks, interdependencies and obstacles early, then work through solutions before delivery is affected.
• Break down broad, unclear problems into specific pieces of work that teams can execute confidently.
• Keep Technology, Change, People & Culture, business teams and external partners aligned and moving together.
• Build and maintain delivery artefacts such as roadmaps, status updates, RACI charts and decision records.
• Help evaluate, onboard and manage external partners involved in strategy, delivery and capability building.
• Run workshops, working sessions and stakeholder discussions tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor adoption, value delivery and overall transformation health, then present meaningful updates to leadership.
• Support broader Business Management & Transformation activity, including delivery governance, financial clarity and operational improvement within Technology.
• Promote experimentation, continuous improvement and a learning mindset across the teams and initiatives you support.

What You Need

• At least 5 years of experience in transformation delivery, business analysis or product-related roles, ideally within technology or fintech.
• Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, along with an understanding of how AI can create business value.
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI topics such as agentic workflows, AI governance, adoption tracking and workforce implications.
• Strong capability in defining outcomes, benefits and value measures with business stakeholders.
• Confidence to work independently, anticipate issues and act early without waiting for escalation.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives across technology, business and change functions.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence engineers and senior leaders.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence or similar delivery tools.
• Experience with AI, digital or operating model change programs is advantageous.
• Exposure to vendor or partner management in a transformation setting is desirable.
• Background in regulated industries such as financial services, fintech or banking is preferred.
