Role overview
Based in Perth, this full-time Workforce Planner position follows a stable day roster from 6:00am to 4:00pm. The role combines office-based work with hybrid flexibility, including three days in the office and two days working from home.
You will play an important part in making sure the right people are available on site when needed so operations continue smoothly. The position is centred on improving workforce efficiency, strengthening processes, and supporting critical site activity.
What you will do
This is a practical, coordination-heavy role involving workforce planning, mobilisation, and rostering. You will work closely with site teams and internal stakeholders to keep staffing aligned with operational demand.
- Coordinate rostering, scheduling, and workforce mobilisation across sites
- Take part in site meetings and workforce planning discussions
- Support casual workforce pools by sourcing people and filling urgent gaps
- Work closely with Site Administrators and other key stakeholders
- Arrange and monitor pre-employment checks, onboarding, and compliance steps
- Track workforce coverage and respond quickly to staffing shortfalls
- Keep workforce records accurate and prepare reporting using Excel and workforce systems, including casual workforce applications
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, or mobilisation. This role suits someone who is comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-volume environment and can manage competing priorities with confidence.
- Background in workforce planning, scheduling, rostering, or mobilisation
- Strong Microsoft Office capability, especially Excel
- Well-developed administrative experience in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a well-organised working style
- Ability to stay structured while balancing multiple priorities
- Confidence working across several teams and stakeholders
