Cabra Castle Hotel is looking for a full-time Accommodation/Laundry Assistant to help keep guest areas spotless and laundry handled to a high standard. The role is based in Kells, County Meath, Ireland, and requires availability for the full academic year.

Working pattern

Main purpose

The position exists to support the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of the property. This includes bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public spaces, and toilets, with the aim of maintaining a fresh and welcoming environment for guests. The role also covers laundry duties, ensuring hotel linen is washed and prepared to an acceptable standard.

Key duties

• Complete the section assigned to you each day to the required housekeeping standard.
• Take on extra tasks from management related to accommodation services and general cleaning projects.
• Submit any found property at the end of the shift and report suspected theft from guest rooms straight away.
• Follow the hotel’s customer care policy carefully, protecting guest privacy, belongings, and personal business at all times.
• Provide guests with information about the hotel’s services and facilities when needed.

Requirements

Candidates should be ready to work full time midweek and weekends during the academic year. A strong work ethic is expected, along with a communicable level of spoken and written English. Applicants must have their own transport or be able to commute reliably every day, and they must have permission to work and live in Ireland.
