About the role
The company is hiring an Appointment Setter who brings energy, discipline, and empathy to a fast-paced outbound calling environment. This person will often be the first real human interaction for leads and will help guide them through educational touchpoints while converting interest into booked calls for the program.
This is a high-activity role with roughly 150+ calls per day, so success depends on confidence, consistency, resilience, and the ability to build quick rapport—especially with an older audience.
Working location and schedule
This is a full-time onsite role based in South Africa or LATAM.
- Workdays: Monday to Friday
- Shift options: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST
- Target start: ASAP
Compensation
The pay range is $7 to $8 per hour, with additional bonuses and commissions.
Key responsibilities
- Call webinar registrants to encourage attendance and follow up with people who missed the session.
- Reach out to prospects who began or completed a health assessment but did not move forward to scheduling a sales conversation.
- Connect with webinar attendees who stayed through the pitch but did not book a call, answering simple questions and helping reduce hesitation.
- Keep lead records updated in Close CRM, manage tasks carefully, and make sure prospects do not slip through the process.
- Hit daily dialing targets and weekly appointment-setting goals on a consistent basis.
Requirements
- Prior experience in appointment setting or outbound sales is strongly preferred.
- Excellent spoken English is mandatory, and the selected candidate will speak only in English throughout the shift.
- The ability to sound natural and relatable to a US-based audience, particularly adults 55+, is important.
- A friendly, warm, patient, and approachable manner is needed to handle hesitation and skepticism well.
- Strong persistence and comfort working at high volume are essential for success in this role.
- Comfort using CRM tools is required; experience with Close CRM is an advantage.
- Willingness to adapt quickly to new dialer software is expected.
