Stellenbeschreibung

Role overview

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a full-time Assistant Project Manager on a fixed-term basis. This position is ideal for someone who is motivated by mental health work and wants to help drive improvements in services for communities across Oxfordshire, BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire. The role is hands-on and supports the Senior Programme Managers in delivering major change programmes within the OBSW Mental Health Directorate.

What you will do

You will work across large, complex programme and change initiatives, taking on delegated activities and helping manage multiple workstreams at the same time. A key part of the role is keeping projects moving at a steady pace and making sure tasks, actions and follow-ups are completed on time.

  • Maintain action logs and monitor progress so programme tasks are completed within the expected timelines, flagging concerns early so they can be resolved quickly.
  • Engage with stakeholders to build support, encourage involvement and keep communication flowing.
  • Support the preparation of reports and communications for boards, groups and other interested parties.
  • Assist with developing plans, risk logs and issue logs, while understanding how these documents affect programme delivery.
  • Work closely with senior programme managers to plan and coordinate programme-related activities.

Candidate guidance

Applicants are encouraged to read the Trust's candidate guidance before submitting an application and to make sure their supporting statement is tailored to this role and clearly addresses the essential criteria.
