Role Overview
The Barista role is responsible for delivering memorable guest experiences while also supporting store sales. In this position, you will represent the Coach brand with a polished, energetic, and customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly manner and provide attentive support throughout their visit.
- Build strong knowledge of the menu, available merchandise, and the history and identity of the Coach brand.
- Contribute to sales targets by promoting drinks, food items, and branded products, while tailoring orders and drawing attention to limited-quantity items.
- Assist with floor setups, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to maintain presentation standards.
- Keep the workspace clean and comply with food-safety practices while preparing beverages using espresso machines, grinders, and ovens.
- Partner with teammates to resolve issues and exchange effective selling techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a barista or in a café environment is preferred.
- Background in customer-facing work, including the ability to assign and coordinate tasks.
- Strong organizational ability and familiarity with food and beverage operating systems.
- Capability to follow store policies and standards, including food safety rules and cash-handling procedures.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
