Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Barista position in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, and related drinks in line with recipe and quality requirements. The role also includes light food preparation, keeping the service area tidy, handling guest orders and payments, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods.

Key Duties

• Prepare coffee, specialty drinks, and other beverages according to the restaurant’s standards and recipes.
• Operate espresso machines and related beverage-making equipment.
• Carry out light food preparation for snacks or accompaniments when needed.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
• Welcome guests, take orders accurately, and process payments.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Replenish supplies and monitor stock levels to support smooth service.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
• Work closely with other restaurant staff to keep operations running smoothly, especially during peak hours.

Qualifications and Work Expectations

Applicants should have barista capabilities, including drink preparation, espresso machine handling, and basic food prep. Strong guest-facing skills are important, along with clear communication and the ability to work well with colleagues.

Good food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness practices are essential in a busy environment. Experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant is an advantage, but it is not mandatory. Basic number handling skills are useful for cash and POS transactions.

The role requires flexibility to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays. Candidates should also be comfortable standing for long periods and performing light to moderate physical tasks.
