Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi is focused on recruiting blue-collar talent for a range of operational functions, including logistics, maintenance, and facility services. The role covers the full hiring cycle, from attracting candidates and evaluating applications to interviewing, arranging practical assessments, and supporting successful onboarding. The recruiter will also work closely with hiring managers, external agencies, labor suppliers, and vocational institutions to meet workforce requirements and hiring timelines.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage end-to-end hiring for blue-collar and other high-volume positions, ensuring candidate pipelines remain active and recruitment targets are met. The position requires coordination of job postings, screening, interviews, trade tests, offer preparation, and onboarding activities such as document verification and compliance checks. In addition, you will maintain candidate records, monitor recruitment performance, and build productive relationships with recruitment partners and training institutions.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in blue-collar or high-volume recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Strong awareness of the Abu Dhabi and UAE labor market is important, along with knowledge of common blue-collar roles and skill sets. Familiarity with UAE labor regulations, visa processes, and hiring compliance is expected. You should be comfortable using applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and standard office tools to manage recruitment data and candidate progress. Excellent communication, coordination, organization, and time-management abilities are needed to juggle multiple vacancies and strict deadlines. A careful, ethical, and solution-oriented approach to hiring is essential.
Preferred Experience and Education
Previous work in recruitment, HR, or staffing in the UAE or GCC region is preferred. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is considered an advantage. English fluency is required, and knowledge of languages commonly spoken by blue-collar workers, such as Hindi, Swahili, or Arabic, will be beneficial.
