Because of an internal promotion, the team is seeking someone with strong strategic judgment, the confidence to engage with senior leaders, and the ability to help improve how the organisation works. This position is suited to a person who can turn strategy into action, question assumptions in a constructive way, simplify complex issues, and influence meaningful outcomes.
You will be part of an established team with solid foundations already in place. The focus now is on lifting performance, improving alignment, and finding smarter ways of working that create better results. The role spans a wide portfolio and involves partnering with senior stakeholders to understand priorities, test ideas, define problems clearly, and support decision-making that improves how work is delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand strategic goals, emerging concerns, and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver analysis and insight that helps guide decisions, clarify issues, and identify workable next steps.
- Ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and keep discussions focused on outcomes.
- Assess and refine business processes, operating frameworks, and ways of working to improve efficiency, consistency, and impact.
- Convert complex information into clear recommendations, options, and actions that move work forward.
- Support initiatives across different business areas by identifying links, dependencies, and change impacts.
- Develop trusted relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
Skills and experience required
- Experience in business analysis, advisory work, or a similar role within a complex organisation.
- Ability to work effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
- Strong skills in facilitation, problem framing, and analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence to influence senior people.
- Proven success in identifying and delivering process improvements with tangible impact.
- Good judgment, curiosity, and comfort working through uncertainty and ambiguity.
- A mindset that prioritises outcomes over outputs.
