What You Will Do

  • Consistently hit qualified opportunity targets.
  • Reach prospects through phone outreach, email, and social media.
  • Carry out market and account mapping to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate inbound leads and determine whether they should become sales opportunities.
  • Create outreach templates and approaches for content-based prospecting.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with prospects and customers until they progress into qualified opportunities.
  • Keep up to date on products, services, and other relevant customer information through training and self-directed learning.
  • Work with established prospective accounts for the Sales team across global mid-market, large enterprise, and enterprise segments.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to create and progress new opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role at a B2B software or SaaS company.
  • Practical experience with several sales approaches, including cold calling and cold outreach.
  • A solid history of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance measures.
  • Excellent English written and spoken communication skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving and changing environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions in a team-based setting.
  • Energetic, strong written communication, and solid interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive as a team player in an active sales environment.
  • Prior maritime industry experience is an advantage.
  • Exposure to machine learning, deep learning, or AI products is an advantage.
