Role Overview
The Chief Operating Officer will join the executive team and take charge of launching and growing the company’s new Miami subsidiary. The position covers overall operations, business planning, coordination across functions, process improvement, and initiatives that support organizational scale and long-term growth.
This is a senior leadership role suited to someone who can shape strategy, manage high-growth teams, and convert business goals into practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and run the Miami subsidiary’s operations from the ground up.
- Create scalable operating systems, internal policies, and business processes.
- Work closely with senior leaders to plan and deliver growth priorities.
- Define operational KPIs and performance measures that improve effectiveness.
- Lead teams across operations, client success, partnerships, and administration.
- Spot opportunities to raise efficiency, productivity, and resource use across departments.
- Contribute to market expansion through structured operational planning and follow-through.
- Hire, coach, and develop strong teams while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the organization follows relevant business policies and operational standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, external partners, and other stakeholders to support business goals.
- Prepare business updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications
The role calls for a seasoned operator with extensive leadership experience and the ability to build systems, teams, and processes in a fast-moving environment. A strong background in operations, organizational growth, and business execution is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
- An MBA or other master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of leadership experience in operations, business management, strategy, or organizational development is needed.
- Prior success in scaling teams, business units, or regional operations is important.
- Working knowledge of digital platforms, emerging technologies, fintech, or innovation-led industries is expected.
- The ability to handle several priorities in a fast-paced setting is necessary.
