SeeYaa, operated by Techyroars Private Limited, is an activity-led social networking platform focused on real-world experiences. The platform helps people find, create, and join activities such as trekking, cycling, sports, travel, fitness, networking, café meetups, photography, gaming, and more. The company’s vision is to encourage people to spend less time on endless scrolling and more time actively living and connecting.
About the Role
This position goes far beyond managing online community chatter. The selected person will help grow SeeYaa’s offline presence across Guwahati by building an active city community. The goal is to make sure there are engaging experiences taking place every week through the platform, while connecting the brand with organisers, local businesses, clubs, and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Community Development
- Develop strong connections with local communities and clubs.
- Bring activity organisers onto the platform and support them throughout the process.
- Spot emerging communities and help them expand through SeeYaa.
- Form collaborations with hobby groups, NGOs, clubs, and local organisations.
Organiser Support
- Assist organisers in listing and publishing activities.
- Guide them on effective practices to improve outcomes.
- Work to raise the overall quality of activities.
- Keep organisers engaged and active on the platform.
- Resolve organiser concerns and operational issues.
Business Partnerships
The role involves building relationships with cafés, gyms, sports venues, travel companies, adventure groups, co-working spaces, and event venues, and helping them use SeeYaa to attract new customers.
Activity Operations
- Track upcoming activities, attendance, ratings, safety concerns, feedback, and repeat participation.
- Help ensure each activity is completed successfully.
Community Growth
- Attend events regularly and stay connected with the community.
- Collect user feedback directly from participants.
- Build rapport with active members.
- Identify potential future organisers.
- Encourage referrals and organic growth.
Reporting
- Prepare weekly updates covering new organisers, active organisers, partnerships, activity success, user feedback, and business relationships.
Performance Metrics
- Number of active organisers.
- Volume of community partnerships.
- Successful activity completion rate.
- Average attendance per activity.
- Retention of organisers.
- User satisfaction scores.
- Frequency of repeat organiser activity.
- Business partnership growth.
Compensation and Growth
The salary for this role is ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and interview performance. In addition, monthly performance incentives are available for achieving KPIs such as organiser milestones, community expansion, activity completion goals, business partnerships, and revenue contribution. Exceptional long-term performers may also be considered for ESOPs. The role also offers a growth path from Community Manager to Senior Community Manager, City Operations Lead, Regional Operations Manager, and National Community Head.
