Work Environment

Seer operates as a remote-first agency and is a Certified B Corporation with employees distributed across the United States. Candidates who prefer an office setting may also work from the company’s headquarters in Philadelphia. Only applicants located in the United States who can work continental US hours can be considered.

Role Overview

This role is suited to a highly organized project manager who enjoys improving workflow efficiency and elevating client delivery. The position requires close collaboration with teams across disciplines to keep projects moving on schedule, on budget, and aligned to deadlines. The right candidate can balance detailed execution with a clear view of the broader plan while coordinating complex timelines, shifting priorities, risks, and budgets.

Engagement Details

This is a part-time contractor engagement expected to require 20 to 30 hours per week. It is ongoing and may convert to a full-time role if client demand supports that need.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for new client requests on select high-priority accounts and coordinate with internal teams on timing and priorities.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans across multiple service lines.
• Forecast workload and team availability, monitor utilization, and help protect project budgets by planning resources effectively.
• Track hours and costs closely, flag budget concerns early, and escalate issues to finance or leadership when needed.
• Assign and delegate work through project management tools such as Wrike or a client’s preferred system.
• Manage resource assignments for client projects using the selected project tracking tool.
• Drive ongoing process improvements that increase operational efficiency and support internal initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

• Strong project management experience with the ability to coordinate team members, vendors, and client stakeholders around shared goals and deadlines.
• A proactive working style with the confidence to move work forward independently without needing constant direction.
• Experience managing cross-functional internal teams of 8 to 10 or more people.
• Working familiarity with digital marketing disciplines such as SEO, paid media, data analytics, and UX.
• Mindset focused on process improvement, team education, and identifying better ways to streamline work.
• Ability to forecast team capacity, solve problems quickly, and handle communication, organization, and time management with ease.
• Experience communicating directly with client contacts at different seniority levels and adapting style as needed.

Not a Fit If

• Managing time, switching between contexts, and handling several projects at once is difficult for you.
• You are not comfortable with ongoing learning and innovation being part of the job.
• You struggle with change management or adapting to new tools and processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this contractor role is $50 to $60 per hour, with the final rate determined by skills and experience.
