Role Summary
This is a full-time remote position with GBC. The selected professional will handle cryptocurrency trading activities, build and refine trading approaches, and track market movements to support well-informed decisions. The role also involves studying crypto data, spotting trade opportunities, and keeping precise records of transactions and outcomes. Working with the wider team to strengthen trading processes and share market insights will be part of the day-to-day work. Success in this role means improving profitability while actively controlling exposure to risk.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cryptocurrency trades and manage trading activity end to end.
- Create, test, and refine trading strategies based on market behavior.
- Track cryptocurrency market trends and use data to guide decisions.
- Review crypto-related data to identify potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of trades and trading performance.
- Work with team members to improve trading systems and processes.
- Contribute insights on market activity and trading outcomes.
- Balance profit goals with risk management actions.
Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of cryptocurrency trading and crypto operations.
- Ability to design and execute effective trading strategies.
- Strong analytical capability for evaluating trends and making evidence-based decisions.
- Experience handling trading work in a fast-moving environment.
- Good problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and comfort working independently from a remote setup.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Prior exposure to the blockchain or cryptocurrency sector is an advantage.
- Understanding of compliance requirements in cryptocurrency trading is beneficial.
