Key duties

• Follow food safety requirements, standard procedures, health and safety rules, corporate policies, and related programs.
• Support customers by taking and fulfilling deli orders accurately and on time.
• Keep the deli workspace clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Prepare and handle deli products according to department standards.
• Carry out merchandising and promotional activities to help drive sales.
• Assist with training newer team members when needed.
• Order and receive inventory in line with company stock-control practices.
• Help manage shrink within the department.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area at all times.
• Take on additional related tasks as assigned.

What you need

You should be able to work on your own in a busy, fast-moving environment. The role calls for accuracy, responsibility, responsiveness to customers, and the ability to keep pace with retail deli operations.

Compensation and benefits

The pay range for this role is $17.85 to $21.30 per hour.
