The Delivery Manager will oversee programme execution end to end, guide cross-functional teams, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and help ensure every programme runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role also plays an important part in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivering strong learner outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Create and refine practical processes that enable consistent, high-quality programme delivery.
- Lead programme coordinators, facilitators, mentors, and other delivery team members on a day-to-day basis.
- Serve as the main escalation contact for complicated learner or programme issues.
- Work closely with learner support teams to improve participant experience and outcomes.
- Coordinate facilitators and mentors so programmes are delivered successfully and on schedule.
- Support the hiring, onboarding, engagement, and retention of facilitators.
- Track programme performance, review operational data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with important stakeholders and programme partners.
- Partner across internal teams to meet delivery goals and shared outcomes.
- Spot, assess, and manage operational risks throughout the lifecycle of programme delivery.
- Help build scalable systems, operating processes, and reusable operational resources.
- Bring programme needs and stakeholder feedback into planning and operational discussions.
Requirements
- Proven background in managing programme delivery in higher education, professional learning, training, or a similar setting.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supporting their development.
- Strong capability in operational management and process improvement.
- Ability to handle complex problems and manage escalations effectively.
- Experience working with mentors, facilitators, coaches, or learner support specialists.
- Well-developed stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, reporting, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to identify and respond to operational risks before they escalate.
- Clear communication and collaborative working style across varied stakeholder groups.
- Genuine focus on delivering excellent learner, customer, or participant experiences.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment that changes frequently.
- Ability to balance quality, commercial considerations, and operational demands.

Recruitment process
The employer group uses a fair, transparent, multi-stage hiring process designed to assess mutual fit.
- Application submission: complete the online form and respond to short application questions.
- Initial screening: the application is reviewed for alignment with the role, and suitable candidates are added to the longlist.
- Video interview stage: shortlisted applicants record brief responses to 3 to 4 role-specific questions.
- Live interviews: selected candidates attend first-round interviews and, where relevant, additional rounds.
- Final shortlist and verification: reference and background checks are completed.
- Offer and contracting: successful candidates receive a formal offer and contract documents.
- Pre-boarding and onboarding: once accepted, the candidate completes pre-boarding before officially joining the employing organisation within the employer group.
Working style
This is a full-time onsite position based in Gold Coast.
