Role Summary
The Denter will be accountable for restoring damaged vehicle body panels and structural parts to manufacturer-approved and company quality standards. This position involves dent removal, panel repair, alignment correction, and body restoration, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate vehicle body damage and decide what repairs are needed.
- Carry out dent removal, panel repair, and structural restoration using approved tools and methods.
- Detach, repair, and install damaged parts such as doors, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, and hoods.
- Perform panel beating, welding, grinding, cutting, and metal shaping when required.
- Complete all repairs in line with OEM standards, workshop safety rules, and company quality expectations.
- Use specialized workshop equipment to correct body alignment and structural issues.
- Work closely with Paint Technicians and Service Advisors to keep jobs moving and support on-time delivery.
- Spot concealed damage and report any added repair needs to the supervisor.
- Keep tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow workshop safety practices, environmental requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Contribute to workshop productivity, efficiency goals, and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Practical knowledge of automotive denting and body repair methods.
- Hands-on experience with welding machines, dent-pulling equipment, and body alignment tools.
- Ability to understand repair manuals, estimates, and technical instructions.
- Knowledge of structural repair standards and safe workshop practices.
- Comfort with modern automotive repair tools and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented communication and collaboration skills.
- Good planning, organization, and time management.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is preferred, or a technical certification in Automotive Body Repair.
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive denting or body repair is required.
- Experience with premium or electric vehicles will be an added advantage.
- Basic English communication skills are needed; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- A valid driving license is preferred.
