Role Overview
An independently founded, rapidly growing hair care brand is seeking a digital designer with a strong, fashion-forward sensibility and experience creating both social content and web design work. The ideal candidate will be confident developing branded assets for social media and shaping product page experiences, bringing a modern and visually bold perspective to each output. This assignment begins as a paid trial project and could develop into an ongoing freelance partnership.
The brand is especially interested in portfolios that demonstrate work for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle companies. Candidates should be ready to contribute polished creative work quickly while collaborating closely with brand leadership.
What You'll Do
- Create social-first design assets, including branded Instagram content and educational carousel graphics.
- Develop web design deliverables such as product detail page layouts and UX/UI work inside Shopify templates.
- Interpret mood boards and brand direction into clean, cohesive visual executions across different formats.
- Partner directly with brand leadership and respond quickly to creative feedback.
- Produce test assets for the initial paid project, with the possibility of extending into longer-term freelance work.
What We're Looking For
- A portfolio that shows both social graphic design and web/UX design capabilities, preferably for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
- Practical experience designing product detail pages and working within Shopify templates.
- A strong visual point of view with a taste for edgy, modern, and bold design.
- The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality output on fast timelines.
Eligibility and Work Authorization
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa such as H-1B, TN, or O visa. Support or training is not provided for STEM/OPT programs. Candidates must also be physically located in the United States and complete the work from within the country.
