Digital Illustrator

The Mission

We are looking for a highly skilled visual designer to shape the premium look and feel of the Partyhat brand universe. In this role, you will transform abstract product ideas into striking digital illustrations, hero visuals, and tailored graphic assets that elevate the company’s web experience. This is an asset-centered remote position for a digital artist who can combine modern web design principles with the pace and energy of an internet-native business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the visual universe by sketching, designing, and refining detailed characters, environments, and custom typography that define the brand’s digital presence.
• Produce high-volume digital assets such as sharp illustrations, landing page hero artwork, interface icon sets, and social media creatives.
• Convert complex artwork into clean, scalable vector deliverables and layered design files that are ready for web use.
• Apply and extend the brand’s visual system while preserving consistency, proportion, scalability, and color balance across all digital channels.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams to turn concepts, wireframes, and mood boards into finished visuals quickly.
• Keep a well-organized archive of master files so engineering and marketing teams can access and deploy assets efficiently.

Requirements

• A strong digital art portfolio that demonstrates excellent composition, vector work, precise line quality, and a clear digital-first perspective.
• Advanced command of common design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or similar vector and raster applications.
• Solid understanding of illustration for digital environments, including layout fit, resolution tuning, file optimization, and responsive scaling.
• Availability to respond quickly when priorities shift, launches accelerate, or visual revisions are needed in real time.
• Excellent organization and self-management skills, with the ability to meet demanding deadlines and manage large numbers of layered files and versions carefully.

Operational Details

This is a fully remote role. The working arrangement is flexible and on-call, with a need for fast response times when assets must be delivered quickly. Compensation is offered as either an hourly rate or a retainer, depending on portfolio strength, and payment is made in digital assets through USDC or USDT.
