Role overview

Sodexo is hiring a full-time Dishwasher for its UCB HQ site in Smyrna, Georgia. The role is focused on keeping kitchen and service spaces clean, organized, and safe while supporting day-to-day food production and facility operations.

Work schedule

This position is scheduled for weekdays only, with specific shift details to be shared during the interview process.

Compensation

The pay rate for this role is between $15 and $18.50 per hour.

Key duties

As part of the food service and facilities team, you will help maintain sanitation standards, keep equipment and surrounding areas in good order, move and store supplies, and assist with setup and cleanup tasks as needed. Additional duties may be assigned depending on operational needs and account requirements.

• Wash dishes manually or operate the dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and otherwise maintain floors.
• Collect and dispose of trash in the appropriate locations.
• Use designated cleaning chemicals to keep equipment sanitary.
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Be able to move around significantly during the shift.
• Remain on your feet for long periods, including shifts that may run beyond 8 hours.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Arrive on time and work scheduled shifts with reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business and client needs.

Requirements

The role is suitable for candidates with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. No previous related work experience is required. A basic understanding of sanitation practices and food safety principles is important.
