Role overview

As an Electrical Commissioning Coordinator, you will support the commissioning team by making sure project documentation is complete and accurate, and by helping coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning electrical work. This position offers practical exposure to the LNG sector and the chance to work alongside experienced specialists in a fast-paced project environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Track, prepare, and route commissioning procedures for approval for the assigned site area(s).
  • Compile and maintain the documentation needed for electrical pre-commissioning activities, including updates in the completion database.
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule and escalate any delays or deviations to the Electrical Commissioning Senior Superintendent.
  • Coordinate electrical commissioning activities within the assigned worksite(s).
  • Ensure all work follows the project’s safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for commissioning tasks, with regular updates in the completion database.
  • Keep activities aligned with the planned schedule and report any variance to the Electrical Commissioning Senior Superintendent.
  • Maintain an organized activity log and provide progress updates to the Electrical Commissioning Senior Superintendent.
  • Work with subcontractors to execute electrical commissioning activities.
  • Verify that subcontractor-led commissioning work complies with approved procedures and accepted industry practices, while meeting the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily execution with Construction Supervisors, subcontractors, and third parties.
  • Support punch list closure in the areas under your responsibility, in coordination with Construction and subcontractors.
  • Be prepared to take on additional duties as project requirements and organizational needs change.

Candidate profile

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required; a postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English is essential.
  • You should be outcome-oriented and able to perform effectively under demanding deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong team spirit are important.
  • Excellent attention to detail is needed, especially when reviewing data and identifying inconsistencies.
  • Prior exposure to PowerBI is a strong asset.

Eligibility and program conditions

This VIE opportunity is limited to candidates who are 18 to 28 years old and hold French or European nationality, in line with the applicable regulations.
