Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand the system design and machine electronics architecture shared by the system design engineer.
• Support the creation of schematics in Creo Schematics or equivalent diagramming tools.
• Build schematic layouts and layers in line with CAT standards.
• Place components, wires, and accessories according to the required standards.
• Perform schematic validation checks, including compatibility checks across components.
• Incorporate updates received from the harness design engineer into the schematic.
• Prepare schematics that comply with CAT requirements before release.

Skills and Knowledge Needed

The role requires strong familiarity with Creo Schematics, electrical systems in machines, wiring harness manufacturing, and common harness elements such as wires, connectors, fuses, and terminals. Candidates should also bring solid verbal and written communication ability along with problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

A B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics is required. The expected experience level is 5 to 6 years.
