Role overview
EY Ireland is hiring an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders and partners in a fast-moving corporate environment. This fixed-term position runs for 12 months and is based in Dublin. The role sits within the CBS business area and requires a strong communicator who can build effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders while handling sensitive matters with professionalism.
What you will do
- Support senior leaders and partners with day-to-day coordination and administration.
- Take ownership of busy calendars, resolve scheduling clashes independently, and help leaders use their time effectively.
- Arrange business travel end to end, including research, bookings, detailed itineraries, and visa support where needed.
- Organise meeting and event logistics, including room setup and catering.
- Process expenses, invoices, and approvals in line with policy.
- Prepare and submit timesheets accurately and on time.
- Work with partner teams to understand priorities and business needs.
- Support internal strategic projects with administrative coordination when required.
- Connect with executive assistants across the wider network to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Prepare meeting papers in advance and manage inboxes, escalating or delegating messages appropriately.
- Review and update internal and client documents before circulation.
- Maintain client records and contact details in CRM systems.
What you need
- Prior experience supporting senior executives at a high level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and clients.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Sharp attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Good judgement and the confidence to prioritise, influence, challenge, and negotiate where needed.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while staying composed under pressure.
- Flexible, solution-focused mindset and willingness to learn in a busy, growing setting.
- Comfort using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
