Overview
This role is based in a hotel, motel, or resort environment and involves a mix of guest support, light facilities work, and setup/maintenance tasks. The work must be performed at the physical location; remote work is not available.
Language Requirement
English is required for this position.
Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed.
Experience
The employer is looking for someone with 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Key Duties
- Set up, rotate, take down, and arrange window displays, showcases, and signage based on floor plans or instructions.
- Support the installation and day-to-day use of audiovisual equipment, including helping troubleshoot issues during events or operations.
- Carry out small repairs on installations and routine upkeep for audiovisual equipment.
- Install, move, reconfigure, and dismantle temporary room partitions and furnishings as needed.
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist guests or clients who have special accessibility or support needs.
- Manage luggage for hotel guests.
- Keep the luggage storage area organized and secure.
