Freelance Presentation Designer

Role overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where you’ll help shape high-quality storytelling outputs within a hybrid AI and human workflow. The role is focused on turning dense information, raw data, and narrative inputs into persuasive, polished presentation materials.

This is a freelance, part-time remote opportunity suited to creative specialists with practical experience in presentation design, information design, and visual communication. You will work alongside Tendem Agents that manage repetitive work, while you contribute the judgment, design expertise, and formatting precision needed for high-stakes deliverables.

Mindrift connects subject-matter specialists with AI-driven projects from major technology innovators. The goal is to combine real-world expertise with generative AI systems to improve the quality of project outputs.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will create presentation assets that are tailored to the audience and optimized for clarity, hierarchy, and impact. You’ll be expected to produce premium corporate-style materials with a creative edge, while maintaining consistency and accuracy across every slide or page.

• Develop persuasive pitch decks and professional one-pagers for specific target audiences.
• Convert complex datasets and layered information into clean, easy-to-follow visual narratives.
• Refine presentations with custom typography, refined motion, and strong visual consistency.
• Maintain a sophisticated style that blends corporate professionalism with creative presentation design.
• Review final outputs carefully to ensure alignment, pacing, brand consistency, and overall quality before delivery.

Tools and working approach

You should be comfortable using presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma to build dynamic and visually refined decks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should bring relevant design experience, strong software skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting a high visual standard. English language proficiency at an upper-intermediate level or higher is required.

• Preferably 2+ years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative field is an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote for building detailed and animated decks.
• Advanced capability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
• Ability to transform complex information and multi-layered structures into minimalist, highly readable visual communication.
• Solid typography and animation skills, with the ability to create polished deliverables using custom fonts and smooth motion.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Proven experience producing premium, corporate-meets-creative presentation layouts.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to flawless visual execution.
• Self-driven working style with the ability to solve design challenges independently.
• A CV that includes a portfolio link showcasing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization work is mandatory.

Compensation and workload

The estimated workload for active project periods is around 10 to 20 hours per week. This figure is only an estimate and is not guaranteed, applying only when the project is active.

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on skill level and contribution pace. Pay can vary across projects depending on scope, complexity, and expertise required.
