Role overview
Mindrift is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for the Tendem project, where you will help shape specialized storytelling workflows inside a hybrid AI-and-human production model. The work is remote, freelance, and part-time, making it a good fit for creative professionals who are confident in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven slide creation.
You will work alongside Tendem Agents that manage repetitive work, while you contribute the judgment, subject-matter understanding, and formatting expertise needed to produce polished, high-impact presentations. The focus is on transforming dense information into clear, persuasive, and visually refined deliverables.
What the role involves
- Build executive-level pitch decks and polished one-pagers adapted to the needs of specific audiences.
- Convert complex inputs, datasets, and layered information into concise visual stories with a clean hierarchy.
- Improve decks through thoughtful font selection, subtle animations, and consistent visual treatment.
- Maintain a refined aesthetic that blends corporate credibility with creative presentation style.
- Check each final output carefully for alignment, rhythm, visual consistency, and brand compliance before delivery.
Tools and approach
You should be comfortable working with presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma. The work calls for strong storytelling judgment, attention to structure, and the ability to present sophisticated content in a minimal, elegant format.
Requirements
- About 2+ years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a closely related creative discipline is an advantage.
- Strong command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote for building interactive, dynamic, and well-animated decks.
- Advanced ability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
- Ability to simplify complex data and multi-level structures into clean, easy-to-follow visual narratives.
- Advanced typography skills and experience creating smooth, elegant animations for premium-quality deliverables.
- English proficiency at Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is required.
- Proven experience creating premium corporate-meets-creative visual layouts.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing visually precise work.
- Comfort working independently and solving design challenges without close supervision.
- Your CV must include a portfolio link with high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization examples; submissions without a portfolio or relevant cases will not be reviewed.
Working expectations
During active phases, the expected workload is around 10 to 20 hours per week. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed number of hours, and it applies only while the project is active.
Compensation
Contributors on this project can earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on experience level and work pace. Pay may differ across other projects based on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.
Application notes
Applicants must submit a resume in English and clearly state their English proficiency level.
To begin, candidates apply, complete the qualification steps, and then may start contributing on their own schedule if selected.
