Role Overview
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Garden Supervisor in the Greater Vadodara Area. This position focuses on the upkeep and growth of the university’s landscaped areas. The selected candidate will guide garden maintenance, support the execution of landscaping work, organize day-to-day garden operations, and supervise a team of gardeners. A key part of the role is to keep the outdoor spaces attractive, practical, and environmentally sustainable.
What the Role Involves
- Plan and carry out landscaping and garden improvement activities.
- Oversee routine maintenance of lawns, plants, and other green spaces.
- Coordinate schedules and tasks for the gardening team.
- Ensure the gardens remain visually appealing, functional, and well maintained.
- Apply sustainable gardening methods wherever possible.
Qualifications and Experience
- Working knowledge of landscape design, horticulture, and gardening practices.
- Hands-on experience in planning and delivering landscaping assignments.
- Ability to manage people and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Understanding of eco-friendly and sustainable garden care techniques.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
- Prior background in garden upkeep or landscaping work is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a similar discipline.
