  • Carry out lamping, cleaning, inspections, and routine maintenance.
  • Complete site surveys and inspections.
  • Accurately fill in project paperwork, timesheets, job sheets, and related records, and return them on time.
  • Keep vehicles, tools, equipment, and PPE safe, clean, and serviceable.
  • Help guide trainees, apprentices, and team members by sharing knowledge and support.
  • Follow all Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental procedures at all times.

Day-to-day working style

  • Work outdoors in live roadside and infrastructure environments.
  • Support installation and maintenance work on ITS projects and reactive jobs.
  • Handle practical, physical tasks including civil works and equipment fitting.
  • Work safely at heights and around live traffic.
  • Apply RAMS and other safe systems of work consistently.
  • Prepare and organise materials, tools, equipment, and vehicles for daily work.
  • Attend training sessions and toolbox talks to continue developing skills.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and operational colleagues to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to maintenance KPIs and operational targets.
