Role overview

The Global Wellness Manager is responsible for turning Belmond’s Global Wellness Strategy into day-to-day execution across the guest journey. Acting as an internal partner to the business, this role focuses on building the frameworks, tools and processes needed to deliver wellness consistently across the brand.

Operations support

  • Convert Belmond’s wellness vision into practical delivery across hotels, trains, safaris and boats, adapting to the wellness approach of each location.
  • Design and roll out processes, frameworks, tools and proven practices that strengthen wellness operations and encourage high standards.
  • Work with Property Business Leaders to shape, refine and implement wellness concepts and initiatives.
  • Help activate the global Belmond Wellness Community and support ongoing employee training across the guest journey to build stronger awareness of wellness in operations.
  • Research emerging wellness ideas and innovations within hospitality and in other industries.

Partnership management

  • Support Property Business Leaders in identifying, choosing and contracting strategic wellness partners that align with each property’s positioning.
  • Help ensure partnerships between properties and wellness providers deliver strong outcomes.

Financial performance

  • Create and implement wellness activations that improve guest wellbeing while also supporting satisfaction, revenue, profit and public relations.
  • Track wellness performance regularly and identify opportunities, improvements and corrective actions.

Development and renovations

  • Lead wellness market research for new Belmond locations, hotels, trains, safaris and boats.
  • Partner with the Global Head of Wellness & Guest Experience to define suitable wellness concepts and physical spaces for new builds and renovated properties.
  • Oversee wellness-related preparation and pre-opening activity when needed.
