Our client is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to join the team on a temporary 3-month assignment, with the chance that the role could continue beyond the initial term.

Role overview

In this position, you will create polished digital and print assets, with a focus on health and safety publications as well as promotional communications. You will also help prepare material for publication and marketing use, ensuring work is delivered accurately and under general direction.

Key duties

• Develop high-quality design work for both online and print channels, including safety-related publications and promotional pieces.
• Format and prepare content for publications and marketing collateral with minimal supervision.
• Make sure all creative output follows accessibility requirements and internal standards.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to arrange delivery of products and services.
• Keep artwork, templates, and graphic assets organised in a digital archive.
• Assist with promotional campaigns by sourcing or producing images where needed.
• Work with internal teams and stakeholders to produce communication materials that are effective and engaging.

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated background in applying design principles across both digital and print formats.
• Good knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them in publications and visual materials.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat on both Mac and PC.
• Experience preparing material for publications and promotional collateral.
• Strong organisational ability, including management of digital asset libraries.
• Comfortable working with external suppliers and a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to juggle competing deadlines, work collaboratively, and produce high-quality output.
• Experience capturing or editing digital images for promotional purposes is preferred.
