Role overview
Robert Half is hiring a Graphic Designer to support a busy creative group working on a consumer brand. The ideal candidate is highly detail-focused, comfortable in a fast-moving setting, and experienced in production-centered design across both print and digital channels.
This position will help keep brand standards consistent while creating and refreshing assets used for retail marketing, global campaigns, and work requested by partner teams.
Location and schedule
Greater Seattle, WA. This is a hybrid role with 2 in-office days each week, specifically Wednesday and Thursday.
Contract length is 6 months, with the possibility of an extension. The schedule is 40 hours per week.
Compensation
Pay range: $30 to $38 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Create polished production-ready design work for print and digital deliverables, including retail signage, banner ads, storefront graphics, magazine advertisements, and similar assets.
- Resize, adapt, and version creative files for different platforms, formats, and retail settings.
- Work inside established brand rules and visual style systems while using approved assets.
- Develop and update materials from existing layouts and templates, with strong attention to print output.
- Handle a large number of edits, updates, and revisions across several projects at once.
- Refresh collateral by updating text, images, and formatting.
- Create quick thumbnail concepts or light sketches when guidance is limited.
- Collaborate with designers, project coordinators, and other internal partners to interpret feedback and make revisions efficiently.
- Prepare final production files and confirm that assets meet print requirements and can scale properly, including vector-based output.
- Stay effective in an environment where priorities can change quickly and creative direction may evolve.
Requirements
- Background as a Graphic Designer or Production Designer, with strong hands-on print production experience rather than purely digital work.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience designing for more than one brand or organization.
- Ability to manage fast-paced workloads, tight deadlines, and frequent change requests.
- Solid understanding of page layout, typography, and scalable vector-based illustration/design.
- Comfort working within detailed brand standards and prebuilt asset libraries.
- Capable of handling incomplete direction, taking initiative, and moving work forward independently.
- Strong communicator who works well with others and brings a collaborative, ego-free approach.
- A portfolio that demonstrates relevant production, print, and retail-oriented work.
