Role overview
This is a creative contract opportunity with a partner company in a fast-moving marketing setting, where design directly supports brand identity across several channels. The position is based in Canada and is remote-friendly within Canada, excluding Quebec.
You will turn ideas and concepts into polished visual assets that strengthen campaigns, support storytelling, and keep the brand consistent across both digital and print media. The role calls for close collaboration with marketing and creative leaders to produce high-quality design work that supports broader business objectives.
The work covers a broad mix of deliverables, including digital ads, social content, presentations, reports, event visuals, brochures, whitepapers, web graphics, and other branded materials. Success in this role depends on strong communication, flexibility, and the ability to balance several priorities at once in a high-output environment.
You will help protect brand consistency while contributing to creative production across multiple sub-brands and campaigns. This role is best suited to a designer who is highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working at pace.
Accountabilities
- Create a wide variety of branded design assets, such as digital advertisements, social media content, presentations, brochures, whitepapers, reports, event signage, and web graphics.
- Handle the production and execution of creative materials for both brand and sub-brand work, keeping visuals consistent with established guidelines.
- Check and prepare final files carefully so they are ready for print and digital output with a high level of accuracy.
- Work closely with creative leadership to protect design quality, ensure brand alignment, and maintain a coherent visual story across every touchpoint.
- Partner with marketing teams to convert campaign needs into effective visual solutions and respond constructively to feedback.
- Juggle multiple design assignments and deadlines while delivering on time and maintaining strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Between 2 and 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally gained across both agency and in-house environments.
- A strong portfolio that shows creative problem-solving, visual storytelling, and consistent quality across different formats.
- Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Keynote, and familiarity with AI-supported design tools.
- Solid knowledge of print and digital production workflows, including file setup, formatting, and final output preparation.
- Excellent communication abilities and the confidence to collaborate effectively with people across teams and seniority levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the capacity to manage several projects at the same time.
- A meticulous approach with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and design precision.
- A self-directed working style and the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with large-format print work, SaaS companies, or AI-enabled design workflows would be an advantage.
