Role overview
Bayshore HealthCare is seeking caring and motivated Homemakers in Colwood, British Columbia, to support clients in their homes and help them stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible. This role is centered on creating positive everyday moments through dependable household support and compassionate service.
What you will do
- Perform light home cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and keeping living areas neat and orderly.
- Assist with meal preparation, including simple cooking, reheating food, and following dietary considerations when needed.
- Handle laundry and linen care, including washing, drying, folding, and changing bedding.
- Help with home organization and general household upkeep so the client’s environment remains safe and pleasant.
- Support clients with everyday routines and other basic day-to-day tasks.
Experience and qualifications
The employer is looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, or comparable life experience involving similar responsibilities. Training or education related to the work is considered an asset, and having a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is also beneficial.
