Role Overview

This position supports housekeeping quality control at a Marriott property in Doha, Qatar. The supervisor checks that guest rooms, public areas, pool areas, and other spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards after housekeeping work is completed. The role also helps keep room-status information accurate, coordinates daily housekeeping activity, and serves as a link between housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry teams.

Key Duties

  • Review cleaned rooms and public spaces to confirm they meet the required quality level.
  • Check sold-room reports, verify occupancy status, identify room discrepancies, and prioritize rooms that need attention.
  • Update the status of rooms departing guests have vacated.
  • Support housekeeping leaders with daily operational tasks.
  • Coordinate communication between housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry departments.
