Housekeeper

Role Overview

Mission Valley Post Acute is looking for a reliable, detail-focused housekeeper to support its part-time team. The role plays an important part in keeping the environment clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, employees, and guests.

What You’ll Do

You will help maintain resident rooms, shared spaces, and other facility areas in line with health and sanitation requirements. Your work will directly contribute to a positive experience for everyone in the building.

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize frequently touched surfaces.
• Remove trash and manage waste following facility procedures.
• Adhere to infection prevention and workplace safety practices.
• Restock essential items such as paper goods and soap.
• Raise any maintenance or safety issues as soon as they are noticed.
• Coordinate effectively with other staff members.

Preferred Background

Experience in housekeeping, especially within healthcare or hospitality, is an advantage. You should be comfortable working independently, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, and staying organized and attentive to detail.

• Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality is preferred.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods and safety practices.
• Ability to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and collaborative.

Compensation

The position pays $17.75 per hour.
