Role Overview
This full-time HR Generalist position supports a broad range of human resources activities, with strongest emphasis on recruiting, onboarding, employee assistance, and day-to-day HR administration. A major part of the role involves helping with gameday hiring and onboarding, while also contributing to compensation, benefits, and core HR processes across the Club. The organization is looking for someone highly organized, team-oriented, and eager to work in a dynamic professional sports setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Help manage hiring efforts for gameday roles and entry- to mid-level positions across the Club.
- Create and publish job postings, review applications, and arrange interviews with hiring managers.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the selection process.
- Support the preparation of offers and the onboarding of new employees.
- Coordinate onboarding tasks such as paperwork, scheduling, orientation, and readiness for gameday work.
- Verify that onboarding paperwork and compliance steps are completed correctly and within required timelines.
- Assist with benefits administration and pay-related processes.
- Maintain accurate employee, recruiting, and onboarding information in HR platforms.
- Contribute to HR initiatives, recruiting events, community hiring efforts, and gameday staffing support as needed.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the HR department.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Sports Management, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, onboarding, or a related support function.
- Strong skills in organization, communication, and working with others.
- Ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and HR software is preferred.
- Genuine interest in sports and in collaborating with a team.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis and must not need current or future work visa sponsorship from the employer.
