Business Profile
KOTRA Singapore has supported stronger commercial ties between Korea and Singapore since 1964. Its work includes arranging trade delegations, coordinating exhibition participation, organizing Korean product showcases, and hosting business tours to events in Korea.
Through the K-Move Center at KOTRA Singapore, the organization also helps Korean talent connect with overseas employers through international employment and entrepreneurship initiatives. The goal is to help Korean youth build global perspective and capability.
Role Overview
This position focuses on coordinating recruitment and relocation activities between Korea and Singapore, while also supporting events and stakeholder engagement related to global talent mobility.
Key Duties
- Manage recruitment and relocation coordination for professionals moving between Korea and Singapore.
- Work with HR teams in both countries to source, assess, and align candidates with suitable openings.
- Support the full hiring cycle, including arranging interviews, assisting onboarding, and following up after placement.
- Organize recruitment-oriented events such as career fairs, mentoring programs, and networking sessions.
- Take care of event operations, communicate with relevant stakeholders, and help ensure smooth execution.
- Provide guidance on hiring practices, cross-border relocation matters, and associated regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with HR contacts looking for Korean talent and Korean job seekers.
- Ensure work is aligned with Singapore and Korea employment legislation as well as data protection requirements.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is required. Prior experience in HR or recruitment is preferred, though recent graduates may also be considered. Strong verbal and written Korean and English skills are necessary for daily communication with stakeholders. The role also calls for excellent organization, the ability to manage multiple priorities, good interpersonal and communication skills, and a genuine interest in cross-cultural HR and international talent movement.
Working Conditions
- Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Office location: 7 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec Tower 1, Singapore
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
