Role overview
The team in Heilbronn is hiring an IT Administrator (m/f/d) to join immediately. This role serves as a key point of contact for IT operations, user support, external service coordination, and security-related topics across the organization.
Key responsibilities
You will help keep IT and communication services running reliably, resolve issues on your own where possible, and act as the bridge between employees, the external IT service provider, and other partners. The role also covers system security, access administration, remote connectivity, and support for data protection and regulatory implementation topics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain IT and communication services and handle problems independently when possible
- Serve as the communication link between employees, the outsourced IT partner, and additional external vendors
- Manage system security, user accounts, and access permissions
- Act as a primary contact for users and key users
- Support stable and uninterrupted operation of all IT and communication systems
- Administer remote access solutions
- Work with the Data Protection Officer on privacy-related matters
- Monitor and assist with the rollout of NIS-2 obligations as they become relevant to the company
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training, a degree in business informatics, or an equivalent background; several years of relevant hands-on experience are also acceptable
- Practical knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and server environments
- Solid understanding of IT security, networking, and virtualization
- Independent, reliable, and well-structured working style with a service mindset
- Good communication abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Willingness to travel regularly to other company sites
- Fluency in both German and English
