About the Role
This position is part of a travel center environment where every day can look different. The company serves a wide range of guests, including professional drivers, commuters, and travelers, and values a welcoming, inclusive setting for both customers and teammates. The focus of the role is to keep the facility clean, safe, and pleasant while supporting a strong guest experience.
In addition to this opening, there may be chances to learn other responsibilities across travel center and restaurant operations. The organization also provides training and may help team members gain experience in other roles.
Compensation
Pay starts at $16.94 per hour and can go up to $23.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Keep the store and travel center clean and orderly.
- Clean showers and restroom areas.
- Wash, load, and unload towels used for the shower facilities.
- Handle basic repair and maintenance tasks around the store.
- Collect and remove trash throughout the travel center.
- Deliver strong guest service by helping maintain a well-kept facility.
Required Qualifications
- Self-driven and motivated to take initiative.
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend most of the day walking or standing.
- Available for a flexible schedule that includes nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and the ability to resolve small issues.
