This part-time remote position is suited for an early-career data professional who can help the business make better decisions through accurate reporting and analysis. The role supports work across manufacturing, quality, and market-related datasets, with a focus on turning raw information into useful insights for internal teams.
Key responsibilities
You will help gather, prepare, and review data from multiple internal and external sources. The role includes basic statistical work, simple modeling, and the creation of dashboards and reports for different departments. You will also verify data quality, record findings in an organized way, and share insights clearly with stakeholders. In addition, you will work with senior analysts and business teams to improve data workflows and support ongoing business and export efforts.
Qualifications and skills
- A solid grasp of analytical thinking and data analysis, with the ability to spot patterns and interpret datasets.
- Basic knowledge of statistics and data modeling to assist with reporting and straightforward predictive work.
- Strong communication ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort using spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets, along with exposure to dashboards or data visualization tools.
- Helpful exposure to databases or query tools such as SQL for working with structured data.
- Ability to manage work independently in a remote, part-time setup while meeting deadlines.
