Junior Mechanical Engineer (m/w/d)

About the role

Singulus Technologies AG is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join its site in Kahl am Main. The position sits within a specialist plant engineering environment and offers the chance to design machinery and technology used across a range of industrial applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers and continue building your expertise through day-to-day project work.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer mechanical parts as well as smaller assemblies.
• Prepare assembly and production drawings on time while taking customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial considerations into account.
• Create SAP material master records and bills of materials for manufactured and purchased components.
• Document and monitor components with respect to cost, function, and quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support the introduction of new technologies and process improvements.

Candidate profile

The company is seeking applicants who are either at the start of their career or already have some initial professional experience. Suitable candidates should bring a degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with early exposure to mechanical design, ideally using Solid Edge. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and communication skills in both German and English are important. A willingness to keep learning and curiosity about new technologies are also expected.
