Role overview

This position is part of a growing social media function during an exciting phase of global expansion. It offers the chance to gain hands-on experience, contribute to strategic thinking, and execute social media activities across a worldwide brand portfolio with guidance from experienced leaders. The successful candidate will act as the link between Bacha Coffee’s digital community and the MarComs team, helping shape online engagement across multiple platforms.

The role involves managing conversations, moderating content, and maintaining strong relationships with online audiences. It also requires clear communication, sound judgement, and the ability to spot issues, report trends, and support improvements in community management practices.

Reporting and working relationships

The role is based within the Social Media Team and may occasionally work with the Customer Care and Content teams. It reports to both the Assistant Social Media Manager and the Social Media Strategist. Externally, the position interacts with online audiences across social channels and with third parties such as agencies and content creators.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to mentions, reposts, and audience interactions in a way that helps strengthen the brand community.
  • Handle customer questions across social platforms promptly and escalate or hand over cases to Customer Care when specialised assistance is needed.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance indicators and take timely action to help ensure customer care issues are resolved.
  • Spot weaknesses, gaps, and improvement areas in community management processes and recommend practical fixes.
  • Coordinate with the agency managing China-based channels such as WeChat, Douyin, Weibo, and Little Red Book to stay informed about online activity.
  • Assist with influencer collaborations, including identifying profiles, outreach, logistics, coverage summaries, and database upkeep across all markets.
  • Write compelling captions that fit the brand voice and are adapted for different platforms and audience types.
  • Support the social media strategy by helping plan and launch content across global channels.
  • Prepare reports on content and campaign performance.

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in social media and a solid understanding of how major platforms work.
  • Strong customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
