Role Overview
Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Laundry Worker to help keep linens and garments clean, organized, and readily available in a long-term care setting. This position supports a team focused on improving the daily experience of residents and the overall environment of care.

Responsibilities
- Gather, sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens and personal clothing.
- Use laundry machines and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Keep activity records for laundry operations and promptly report equipment problems or safety concerns to a supervisor.
- Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions to maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
- Interact professionally and courteously with residents, staff members, and visitors.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in laundry work is helpful but not required.
- Applicants should maintain a positive attitude and communicate well with residents, administration, and HCSG leadership while completing daily tasks.
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
- Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals.
- Able to follow spoken and written directions and carry out repetitive routine work each day.
- Must live within the service area.
