HorseCare is building a modern monitoring solution that uses objective data and advanced analysis to help predict and prevent injuries. The platform supports veterinarians, trainers, and horse owners with accurate insights that enable earlier action and better outcomes for horse health, safety, and longevity.
Role overview
We are seeking a Managing Director to lead the Ireland operations of a distribution-focused business. The position calls for a commercially minded leader who can oversee day-to-day operations, strengthen business relationships, and support growth through structured planning and execution.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the company’s representative in Ireland.
- Lead negotiations and manage the delivery of agreements with partners and other counterparties.
- Coordinate and supervise the organization’s operational work.
- Handle financial oversight, budgeting, planning, and expense management.
- Shape and execute marketing plans for the business.
- Promote products and services through social media and other digital channels.
- Expand the distribution network using online platforms and social media channels.
- Study the market and identify potential clients and business partners.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Work with public authorities, banks, auditors, and external consultants.
- Ensure the company remains aligned with Irish legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and rollout of the company’s growth strategy.
Candidate requirements
- Must be based in Ireland; candidates from the post-Soviet region with Irish residency may also be considered.
- Higher education in Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, or Law.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior management position.
- Background in sales, marketing, and building distribution networks.
- Working knowledge of corporate, contract, and commercial law.
- Strong negotiation abilities along with financial and strategic planning skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
