Job Summary
This role supports improvements to manufacturing equipment and systems by helping plan, design, source, and roll out changes. The position also contributes as part of project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project work aimed at building and deploying manufacturing processes that meet safety expectations, production goals, business objectives, and product requirements.
- Apply manufacturing principles and best practices to strengthen equipment performance and process efficiency.
- Help develop standard manufacturing methods and working practices by using continuous improvement tools.
- Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders on assigned project activities.
- Build knowledge of manufacturing principles and their application within the organization.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods and process improvements.
- Work on productivity improvement, cycle-time reduction, and cost control.
- Support new product introduction by assisting with process setup and validation.
- Investigate production problems and put corrective actions in place.
- Maintain quality standards, process capability, and compliance with required specifications.
- Create and update process documents, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
- Improve machine utilization and support OEE gains.
- Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in day-to-day work.

Education and Experience
A college degree in STEM or a related field is required, or equivalent experience. Basic relevant work experience is needed. A licence may be required to meet export control or sanctions compliance requirements.
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations is preferred, with automotive exposure considered an advantage.

Role Details
This is a full-time, exempt experienced position based onsite in Phaltan, Maharashtra, India. The role is required to be performed fully in person because of operational needs. Relocation support is available.
