Overview

TWI Foods Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Manager for its Etobicoke, Ontario location. This is an on-site role, so all work must be performed at the physical workplace with no remote option available.

Language

English proficiency is required.

Education

A college or CEGEP credential is needed for this position.

Experience

Applicants should bring at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Budgetary responsibility

This role includes responsibility for a budget in the range of $100,001 to $500,000.

Responsibilities

Create production timetables and assign duties so operations run smoothly.
Review day-to-day plant performance and make improvements where needed.
Track supplies of raw materials and finished goods to avoid stock shortages.
Coordinate and oversee daily operational activities.
Set up maintenance plans for equipment and advise on machinery replacement needs.
Lead quality control checks and inspections.
Recruit staff, supervise the team, and manage or support training for new equipment and production methods.
Keep inventory systems organized and up to date.
Plan and introduce changes to machinery, equipment, production processes, and work methods.
Prepare and manage the departmental budget.

Supervision

You will supervise a team of 5 to 10 people.

Experience and specialization

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook is expected. Prior experience in the food industry is required.
